I was switched or pay many times over; by my insurance.
I have been suffering massive headaches and more dizzy than before, tripping just because I turned over a nudge to make sure it was my friend. My eyes are more sensitive to light than before, having to walk looking down and to stay on line to my destiny. I cannot tell what else I will encounter for I just switched one week ago.

I had no problems with the generic lev by either Torrent or Lupin, but the generic from Watson Lab has wreaked havoc on my seizure control. Since switching (due to using mail-order pharmacy this time), I have had 7 seizures in the past 5 weeks. I'm switching back to the old pharmacy that uses the Torrent and Lupin drugs.

Will Keppra ever come down in cost we are paying $900 dollars a month and it has made a life change for us financially....and yes we do have insurance but we have to pay it all up front and after a $500 deductible we get 80% back, it still is hard on us...

The switching isn't a choice. Financially we are being forced by insurance companies to do-it or else pay. Is there any price a parent wouldn't pay to see their child NOT have seizures? The neurologists wrote for my son to have the brand Keppra XR when standard Keppra went generic and he suffered very bad seizures, now XR has gone generic and it DOESN'T matter that he has seizures or that the MD writes medically necessary for control of epileptic seizures. Who the hell decides this! I'm all for if you CAN take a generic then do, but if you cant because you will suffer, my lord can we please leave money out of the equation of personal health and well being. Whats next? Force him to get submerged in ice water, stick needles in his brain, or maybe just beat the demons out of him. Insurance co.s and drug co.s are barbaric enough to say yes. SAD!!!
